The sets consist of twelve times 10 grams of acid dye. With 1 gram of acid dye you can dye 100 grams of undyed wool at a raft ratio of 1 percent (this results in medium strength color in most cases).
Acid dyes are dyes suitable for dyeing protein fibers, such as wool and silk. The dyes are selected for De Amsterdamse Steek on responsible production and color intensity. We use several types of acid dyes and occasionally mix our own color combination. Acid dyes are so-called low-inpact dyes. Heat and an acid environment (light household acids such as vinegar or citric acid) create a final bond of color molecule and protein structure.
