Yarn imported directly from Estonia by De Amsterdamse Steek. 100% wool, 2 ply, not superwash treated, 100 grams/350 meters. The yarn feels a little rough unwashed. When washed in lukewarm/warm water with a little wool detergent, the wool "opens up" and feels much softer. Instructions indicate that the wool can be knit on needles 2.5 to 3 mm, but from 1.25 tm nld 4 mm are within the range with which you get nice knitwork.

The wool is wound on large 100-gram balls.
