Portuguese Knitting Pin
OverviewThe knitting pin is a tool for knitting the way they do in Portugal, among other countries. While knitting, you use a kind of lever system, which puts less strain on hands and wrists and makes the knitting more efficient. This way of knitting makes it easier to knit the purl stitch. Portuguese knitters, for example, therefore often knit their socks inside out so they can work nicely on the purl side.
