Book - Little Red in the City - Ysolda Teague
OverviewLittle Red in the City is used as a textbook in the Haute Couture 1 Course. The patterns in this book are used as a blueprint for knitting your own custom cardigan.
In Little Red in the City you will find six models to knit. The pattern descriptions are also written for (extra) large sizes. Almost all models are described in sizes XXS to XXL.
In this book much attention has been paid to various knitting techniques, such as setting up, buttonholes and shortened turns. Yarn selection and knitting samples (swatching) are discussed in detail: which yarn to choose for your project and how to get the right stitch ratio.
In addition, Ysolda describes in the chapter 'creating a perfect fit' how to make a sweater that fits your measurements, without comparing you to apples or pears.
When you buy this book you will receive a code to download the digital version. You can, for example, print the pattern you are working on and make notes on it. In addition, you will receive digitally all updates and any errata.
